How do I book a self-tape session?

You can book your session by emailing info@mrselftape.com - Let us know your preferred day/time and we will advise on our availability.

How long can I book for?

You can book from one hour - this allows time for filming, editing, and selecting your favourite takes without feeling rushed. We do not offer 30 min bookings. Please view our bookings and pricing info for more details.

Can I watch back my tape during the session?

Absolutely! We encourage you to watch your takes back during the session. You’ll have access to a monitor in the studio so you can review your performance and make any adjustments as needed.

How many takes do I get?

We send up to three takes per scene as standard. You’ll have time during your session to select your preferred takes. Because we operate from a professional studio (not a home setup), we don’t access footage outside of studio hours and we may not be able to send extra takes afterwards.

Do I need to bring a reader?

We read in for you, and direct and support your performance where needed. However if you would like to bring your own that’s absolutely fine. Please send all sides and breakdowns in advance to info@mrselftape.com

What if I need to reschedule?

We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will forfeit the deposit. If you need to reschedule, please do so within two days of your original booking.

How long until I receive my self-tape?

Unless specifically requested, all self-tapes are delivered within 24 hours. If you need your tape urgently, let us know before your session and we’ll prioritise the edit.

Can you send my self-tape directly to my agent?

Of course! We can send your final self-tape directly to your agent via WeTransfer.
